As he further promotes his latest solo album, The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has revealed that he’s been contemplating quitting music. Speaking with The Times, Flowers said that lately he’s been thinking long and hard about his own longevity. With The Killers having formed way back in 2001, it’s only natural that Flowers (who turned 45 back in June) would be thinking about some future outside of music. Find Brandon Flowers Tickets “I’m really going through it right now: How much longer do I want to do this, what does it mean, why am I doing it anyway?” Flowers said. “Whenever I finish a tour, without fail I get sick.” It’s not just post-tour crud, though. Flowers also said that he looks at his father’s day-to-day, and wonders if he needs music to be happy. Said Flowers, “My dad goes to yard sales, where he buys frames to take home and paint.
