Fans who attended the ninth and final show of Bon Jovi’s residency at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, July 26th, were treated to an appearance by fellow New Jersey legend Bruce Springsteen on two songs. The Bon Jovi frontman apparently recovered well enough for the band to perform a 19-song set on Sunday night. At the end of the shortened Thursday night show, Jon Bon Jovi told the audience to hang on to their ticket stubs, suggesting that the band would try to make it up to them.
