Bobby Vylan will face no further action from the Met Police following a “death to the IDF” chant at a London demonstration, and the rapper has told officers to “do some real work”. At the demonstration, he chanted “death, death to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces)”. That was the same chant he did while on stage at Glastonbury 2025 last summer, which was broadcast via a livestream on BBC iPlayer, and led to an investigation by Avon and Somerset Police, which was ultimately dismissed in December with no further action being taken. Following the chant being made at the rally held on the Albert Embankment in March, a spokesperson for the Met Police confirmed that they were looking into the matter due to the language used.
