Beck has revealed his new song “Disappearing Act,” the third single off his upcoming album Ride Lonesome. With stacked harmonies, a reverb-heavy atmosphere, and lyrics that touch on the mysteries of the unknown, “Disappearing Act” is a stirring, majestic offering from Beck. The track is mostly rooted in acoustic guitar, but features flourishes of strings, steel guitar, and warm, earthy drums; throughout, Beck alludes to embracing uncertainty, ending the song with the couplet, “Try to unlearn the things you knew/ There’s a road out of here leads to nowhere.” Stream the new song below.
