Beabadoobee has shared ‘Memories’, “one of the happiest songs” on her upcoming album ‘Pylon’. Listen below. The singer-songwriter is preparing to release her fourth studio album and follow-up to 2024’s ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves‘ on September 18 via Dirty Hit/Interscope, and you can pre-order it here. Now, she’s shared the latest song from the LP, which she’s described as “one of the happiest songs on the album,” though it delves into a melancholic nostalgia “clinging onto ideas that should make me happy but actually make me feel sad, because I wish they were just moments I lived in forever,” she says. Built around a euphoric acoustic guitar, the song sees Beabadoobee dwell on the small details, as she sings: “The smell of rain on the pavement/It’s 3 am and I thought of you/You’re the best, you’re my favourite/I see you in all shades of blue.” Listen below. ‘Memories’ was already debuted live during her show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado earlier this month.
