Arch Enemy played their first show with their new lead vocalist Lauren Hart on Friday, March 27th, in Beijing, China. The singer replaced Alissa White-Gluz, who exited the group late last year.

As seen in fan-filmed video, Hart sounds right at home with the band, showcasing a great live charisma in her performance and a solid, intense vocal performance. Fans curious how she would fit with the band in a live context will certainly have any anxieties allayed. The veteran extreme metal act is as tight as ever, and Hart undoubtedly has a bright future ahead with the group given the chemistry shown in the performance.

This live performance comes in the wake of the first single Arch Enemy released featuring Hart on vocals, “To the Last Breath,” which was given its live debut at the Beijing concert.

Following their current spring tour of Asia, Arch Enemy will embark on a run of intimate European summer shows. Tickets to their upcoming gigs are available here.
