Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black to Receive 20th Anniversary Reissue

Amy Winehouse’s classic 2006 album Back to Black will receive a deluxe reissue for its 20th anniversary. The album, which Consequence recently named as one of the best sophomore albums of all time, originally arrived on October 27th, 2006 and serves as Winehouse’s final album before her death in 2011. Now, the project will be expanded into a clear-vinyl 3xLP, 3xCD, and deluxe digital release, including new artwork and limited edition variants. All formats will arrive on October 23rd via Republic/UMe. The collection includes unreleased demos, rare B-sides, and a live performance from Paradiso in Amsterdam on February 8th, 2007 from the “Back to Black Tour.” It also includes never-before-seen photos by original album photographers Mischa Richter and Alex Lake, new liner notes from producers and friends Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, and an image from Ronson’s archives of Amy’s handwritten lyrics.
