Amelie Lens Announces ‘EXHALE VA008’ with VE/RA’s ‘Out Of My Mind’

Bringing together 17 artists over 15 tracks, EXHALE’s eighth various artists compilation is set for release on July 31. Three of its singles are dropping over the next few weeks.

Belgian techno connoisseur Amelie Lens knows the importance of paying it forward to the next generation of talent. Since establishing her EXHALE imprint in 2021, she’s elevated a wide range of techno sounds by spotlighting budding artists.

As the scene constantly evolves, Lens ensures that each producer’s individuality is represented, resulting in a melting pot of distinct interpretations of the genre. EXHALE’s various artists compilation series is a testament to this mission.

Returning for its eighth edition, the 15-track EXHALE VA008 is slated to release on July 31. The latest iteration of the beloved series will feature 17 artists. Familiar names and newcomers alike will each deliver raw, hard-hitting elements. In the lead up to the drop date, three singles from the compilation will give fans a tease, with the first one by VE/RA out now.

VE/RA’s “Out Of My Mind” charms listeners through ethereal, acid-infused soundscapes and alluring vocals, enticing fans to get lost in its genre-bending style. Next, UK-bred Alex Farell is returning to EXHALE with high-octane single “Critical,” releasing on July 20. Just before the entire compilation drops, fans will get a final taste on July 24 through French producer Ctrl’s “Riser,” an energetic hard bounce anthem fit for any dancefloor.

Additional artists making an appearance on EXHALE VA008 include BRÅWN, Flour, Blondex, Portex, Jose Bonetto, PALOMA, Franco Smith, Aundreja, Kode, Milio Ruando, Ellen Trenn, Khira Li, Molothav, and RUBIØ.
