‘A Very Laufey Day’ returns for 2026 with worldwide events

Laufey has announced a series of events taking place worldwide to celebrate the 2026 edition of ‘A Very Laufey Day’. Taking place on Sunday (August 23), the theme for this year is ‘A Celebration of the Arts’, and includes events centred around the cultural experiences that inspire the Icelandic-Chinese singer, including music, film, dance, theatre and literature. There are events in more than 75 cities across 25 countries planned, and these include live performances, museum exhibitions, and fan meet-ups in libraries, bookstores, cafes and ice cream shops. Highlights include exclusive candlelight concerts held in 10 cities around the world, where audiences will hear some of Laufey’s music reimagined and performed by string quartets.
